Onera is a spin-off company from IMEC Nederland, a leading knowledge institution in the field of nano-electronics and digital technologies. The mission of Onera is to unlock sleep diagnostics. In this context, Onera develops innovative and potentially disruptive technologies for sleep studies and sleep diagnostics. Cost-effectiveness, comfort, and user-friendliness are paramount. Onera wants to develop and market new products that can be used to perform high-quality sleep studies at home. The developments within the OP-SLEEP project, therefore, fit seamlessly with the ambitions of Onera and offer Onera the opportunity to launch a groundbreaking new product that will have a major impact on sleep diagnostics worldwide.
Signal processing system group, TU Eindhoven
Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is a young, vibrant university with a focus on both fundamental research and applied sciences. The university is highly regarded worldwide and provides groundbreaking research. The work within the OP-SLEEP project is carried out by the Signal Processing Systems (SPS) group of the Electrical Engineering faculty. The research group not only has a strong position internationally but is also a hub in the regional innovation system, where it frequently cooperates with industry, hospitals and other (social) stakeholders.
Kempenhaeghe foundation
Kempenhaeghe is an expertise center for epileptology, sleep medicine and neurocognition. The Center for Sleep Medicine has a national leading status for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Kempenhaeghe has a third-line care function and medical scientific research is also central. In its role as a center of expertise, Kempenhaeghe also has the ambition to play a role in the development of new technology in the field of sleep diagnostics.
